giga laggs

Hey when im playing i sometimes gets lags. Impossible to play with. i dont know why. My graphics is sat to lowest at my com has 2.1 GHz (BF2142 needs 1.7)

Hope i can get help.. it sucks

dunno mate..? my friend got an MONSTER PC NEWEST GRAPHIC CHARD but he lags in diablo 2 Very Happy

Well, i found out what the problem is. My processor is about 80-100% some times when i play BF. Dunno what to do

if bf is sometimes laggy, you can also try to disable the updates in your virus engine and often a problem is when ports not be forwardet into your fireall Smile

okay but most have a router for wlan or cat-5 cable Smile

and if there is no router because you're connected to moden directly you can take a look into your firewall. have same problem because my router doesn't have enough places for forwarding ports. guess i have to update firmware to do that

ah okay, if you have wireless maybee you have to take a look at the encryption you use. because in wireless it can often be a problem in games they be played online and need fast time of response. have had same problem here and since i changed to lan i can play without lags.

you can lag because people around the world play this game and you all need to connect to the server. and servers being hosted in foreign country like for me senge's server are some some where in a different country I think so I get a high ping in United States hosted servers i get low pings

you have not to know all if you have peoples you can ask for Wink

your ping is dependent of more than one factor.

- how fast is your internet?
- do you have fastping or ping express?
- do you have done all settings in your network?
- how far is the server you like to play?
- how many peoples are using the line you have?
- do you share your internet with family?
- do you using wlan or lan?
- do you have optimized the settings for tcp/ip?
- how many programs will be running in same time and need a connection to the internet?
- maybe processes are running you didn't know?

you see... there is something to pay attention for Smile
